I have Windows 7 64-bit. I installed Nokia PC Suite. Windows now knows a "Nokia N900 USB Modem". The N900 itself is connected to Internet...

Re: Show off your Maemo 5 screenshots

I'm downloading it but I'm afraid to lose all my customization if I install it. Is there a way to bundle all my modifications in a proper theme which would appear under the standard Theme Selector?...

Re: Show off your Maemo 5 screenshots

There are great themes in this thread. But there was always one thing I didn't like in them. So I've made my own by mixing several ideas I found here.

Many thanks to James_Littler and shazosbourne...

For now, they don't appear at all. I checked the DICT files and the correct HTML entities are present.

I guess the font used in this app...

Re: Mappero voice navigation: submit your voice, in your own language!

I just found a solution. I noticed that I could redirect the GPS sound to the car radio with FM Transmitter. I can thus increase the volume level with the car system. It's perfect.

I will test if...

Re: Mappero voice navigation: submit your voice, in your own language!

I just tested the voice indications and it's great. I don't know interlingua but I kinda guessed what it was saying... ;-)

There's one small problem, though. Even with the volume maxed out, it's...

Re: [Announce] MStarDict for N900

I just noticed something weird when using this app. If MStarDict is running, the pulseaudio process is taking 20% CPU all the time (which drains the battery), even if I didn't use the "Speak" button...

Re: scrolling application list is not as easy since 1.2

Maybe. But I've tested today the iPad in a store and the scrolling in Safari was very much like the N900 menu in PR1.1. So it seems Apple has gone the other way...
