Thanks slender. I dont use it constanly but when I want it I need it to stay on for more than 45 mins without running out

@slender. Yes I have a charger and spare battery but dont always have the facility to recharge

Although I like the n900. After 6 months I can stand the lack of battery life. I am out on the road most of the time and the phone is nearly dead after just an hour sat nav and a few calls or texts....

Ok I have got fmms working. Hurray and thanks frals. Then I got voda phone to send me mms settings which you had to do, in I guess earlier versions. Now fmms dont send. OK delete the settings voda...

Which is the current working version of fmms 1.1.1 or 1.03 or 1.04 or do I see 1.08 around some where and do you need to install fAPN as well?

I eventually got this to send a mms. Great. Then I phoned vf to get them to enable my account with mms as told to do in the wiki so I could recieve They sent me some settings. I saved and rebooted....

I tried this about a dozen times now including rebooting between install and uninstall and I still cant get the damm widget onto the desktop. It was working fine in the unofficial release.

I did not get my phone direct from Vodaphone but via esave I think. Either way it was not diret from VF so is that the latest...
