I figured out how to DM. Log in, go to Private Messages on the right, then click Send New Message on the left and type the name of a recipient. Apparently, there is indeed no way...

Indeed, I once wrote a control event client for a Wii Remote, same thing. It is hard to surpress. But in almost all cases you connect first before putting on a movie, so I reckon the problem...

Would it be weird if I asked if the sort order in recent episodes could be reversed? It is now completely the opposite of what XBMC does.
Also, the Picture folder thumbnails are not...

I usually leave Xbmcremote running so that it reconnects when I get back home so that I don't have to think about starting it...

Ok, good to hear that the JSON API has something at least. I agree, playlists are a bit weird, as they seem to be considered as some virtual directory. Being able to have a playlist of albums...

Xbmcremote is really awesome. An XBMC app that goes beyong the usual control interface and implements things like muting on phone call, etc. Brilliant! I have been happily using it for months......

So, what is actually unclear to me is if the volume up/down and next/prev track buttons actually work. Can you confirm this? Because I too dislike using the n900 when it is connected to headphones...
