I finally figured it out. You save the wmv file as an attachment. Then you open up mplayer and watch it.

I've read on this forum that DVD Catalyst 3 is a good prgm for encoding various video formats for the Nokia. They list various platforms you can purchase for and the Nokia N810 isn't one of them....
