Wow.. that's cool to see my instructions still work on a new device and after this much time . But, Mer is Mer so no surprise there.

Awesome to see someone got LXDE on their N900.. Mer+LXDE on my N810 was extremely useful for a long time with all the debian packages that ran just fine when used with a stylus.

Too bad phone stuff wouldn't work (at least, I wouldn't think so)... until that gets sorted I'd still think running Easy Debian + LXDE would be a better solution.
