I trust the endpoint from HSS way more than random TOR endpoints; many of those are owned by "intelligence" agencies of many countries, including those that will put your whole familly in jail just 'cause you said you believe the governenment should behave differently than how it currently does, as well as by regular ill intentioned hackers, phishers etc.


And of course, TOR and HSS use different technical approaches to redirect your connections, the differences affect which programs are compatible with which system.
