Hey guys,

I have decided to finally open a blog, however, I am worried about the policies of such. I am not yet going to get my own domain or something like that, it is more like trying to see if I write enough on it to make it worth the change.

So I am worried about blog engines, is it true that some may appropiate content you generate? Which blog service do you recommend?

it has more than just a blog, but it has a cost.

I don't know where or how you should use it, but I strongly recommend WordPress as blogging software.

It is by far the best out there (IMO).

what about tumblr.com? you can upload all kinds of media for free to include in your blogs and customize your page in various ways. a great feature is people can reblog your posts so your blogs reach more people :-)

I have a tumblr account for all the 'stuff' I generate. And it can be linked to twitter, too, if you like publicity. The other one I use is LiveJournal, for longer word-based posts.

Don't you get a bit of space from your ISP you could host something like wordpress on?
