Using the Basilisk II Macintosh emulator for Nokia Internet Tablets.

Could those using Basilisk II on their NIT occassionally make a post here when they find a neat 68k program or game that will run on Basilisk II please? Preferably the last version that works on Basilisk II if applicable. I'll be adding more when I can remember or install them.

Works in my hands :-) I I haven't tested it thoroughly, though - but as you can see it opens.

Has anyone tried to use WordPerfect 3.5e or MS Word 6.0.1 to import .doc files that were produced on a current MS Word for Windows (e.g. Word 97, Word 2000, Word XP, or Word 2003) ??? Is there a way to import these formats into MS Word 6.0.1 or WordPerfet 3.5e ???

Microsoft provides the following add-on.

Microsoft Word 97, 98, and 2000 Converter for the Macintosh
This import filter will allow users of Microsoft Word 5.1 or 6.x to import Microsoft Word documents saved in Office 97 or Office 98 formats.

MS Word documents can be saved in a Corel WordPerfect format that CWP 3.5 can open, and CWP documents can be opened in MS Word, but I think Word 2003 was the last version that could do this.

Most (but not all) 68k Mac games require a screen that can do 256 colors. Unfortunately the way Basilisk II for Maemo Linux is built, it runs at 65K (thousands) of colors, so many Mac games will complain about being unable to run due to a lack of a 256 color capable screen.

Here's a moment of Zen ... Windows on Mac on Linux (on my N800):
