hello guys,yesterday i was working with one girl and she had also an n900 so i was installing for her some software and i saw that she still had the pr 1.1 so I opened her camera to see how it was working and I noticed the huge difference btw mine end her . .how"s it possible I bought mine 5 months ago in NY and she bought her in HK few months ago but it's still with pr 1.1

yes I'm :-(
I checked more then one time and the funny thing is that she still has pr 1.1 and her camera it's 300 times better then mine

Try shooting that same thing with the Battery Cover off and see if it improves.

They both Suck to me by the way...

Did you use flash? If so this has been discussed before, I think there is a problem with the N900 flash being reflected back into the lens. Mine seems to suffer from similar issues.

You prolly have sushi on your devices lens, try cleaning it.

yes but in both phone . .

I've done it few days ago so i don't think it s that the reason . .

My loose following of this issue leads me to believe that the flash reflection issue varies between phones. As one poster wrote, removing the back cover is a test...

@ andrew_85:

I can sympathize with you. My camera is positively cr@p too.

Especially when using the widescreen mode. My old N95-8GB absolutely pans it in image quality.
I've actually been thinking of taking it in to the Nokia service centre to get it checked out.
