i would like to know how i can replace my "handshake" boot up screen with verbose boot up for my nokia n900.

i see it work on the idevices

ps. i know how to replace the boot up screen with a 10-20 second .avi video already :s

I think that involves somthing like flashing a framebuffer kernel or somthing like that, i never really got reliable instructions for that, people always said somthing like "the kernel with frambuffer is too unstable, not worth it" or somthing along those lines and didn't go in much details
