check if there is speedpatch in /etc/event.d/

If those problems are keep going

removed patch again, rebooted.

reinstalled new patch following updated instructions

hasnt happened again so far, see how it goes

Excellent work man, I normally listen to some music and when opening another app for me at least there would normally be a few seconds of lag which meant the music would start to stutter, well not anymore thanks once again

hmmm... i was hoping this patch will also fix hildon-home crashing... but looks like the phone stays smooth only for about 2 days and then hildon-home starts to go bonkers again...

there must be some widget which is crashing your hildon_home. better remove some widgets and check if works.

just like mehularjput said there might be a widget doing that to hildon-home

in my case i figured out that ap news widget makes n900 lags after 1 day of usage

but now after i removed it (no need to uninstall) just removing it from the desktop

i got n900 says in conky 23 days up
and still fine

PS : i some times use optimizer n900 script
it is usefull
