for the main time use the manual install from the 1st post (only for the batterypatch)

@zurrain101

sensortk try uninstall speedpatch
reboot
open 10 webpages
install the speedpatch
reboot
open 10 webpages
you MUST notice a huge improvement

another ex:
try transmission app (bit torrent)
you will notice less to 0 lags

another ex:
try ashpalyt5
with out speedpatch
you need to launch it 2 times to make it smooth

with speedpatch you need to launch it only 1 time to make it smooth

another ex :

nokia panorama app
without speedpatch the whole phone lags after taking a pic
with speedpatch the phone doesn't lag at all after taking a pic

there are also a lot of other examples

after using battery patch for a while i see it has issues. improper scrolling and rotations. taps not registering instantlly..and battery use fluctuations...sometimes it last a long time with much use the others even standby runs it down. i removed it and phone back to normal. the speed patch remains and i am more than satisfied with that. i used the manual install.

i agree with sekou718. karam the battery patch is amazing. gives me 1 day with massive use. but sometimes my battery is like 20, 30 percent and i sleep for 5 hours and it goes dead on standby

are you crazy guys ?
what the hell does the battery patch effect ?
scrolling rotation?
omg
if you looked inside the deb or the .tar.gz
you will notice that it only uses dbus-scripts that have got nothing to do with the performance
omg omg
and zurrain101
make sure when you lock your phone before sleep or anything like that
the keyboard must be closed
and the proximity sensor mused be opened !!!!!!!!

for me :
i have batterpatch (manual install)
speedpatch (deb)

and saticfied with the looong battery life and the super performance

my phone did become unresponsive after installing both patches. every 4 to 5 seconds it would hang for about 2 seconds.

so i rebooted a second time and it is now smooth as a baby's bottom. i already notice loading times for qt apps are quicker. now to see how battery behaves...

those 2 patches made my n900 perfect
@zurrain101
to keep it opened just don't put your finger on it

and people don't install the DEB batterypatch
use the manual install from post 1

karam reported that there is a problem with it
and he will fix it on the next release

and droll
you should've rebooted before
