So I just did the following:

apt-get install python-pyside
apt-get install python-gi python-gobject
apt-get install python-central
Then download and install the following with dpkg -i
http://sheeplauncher.net/debs/python...b0m6_armel.deb

dpkg -i pyradio_4.4_all.deb

And I get some digsigsums errors, and when attempting to open pyradio a traceback on it attempting to import dbus. Am I missing some sort of python module?

here's my output

Check for python-dbus:

apt-cache search python-dbus
apt-get install python-dbus

I'll add it to my list of dependencies.

I did
Code:
apt-get install python-pyside python-gi python-gobject python-central python-dbus
wget http://sheeplauncher.net/debs/python-gst0.10_0.10.21-1maemo1%2b0m6_armel.deb
dpkg -i python-gst0.10_0.10.21-1maemo1\+0m6_armel.deb
wget http://www.linuxniche.com/pyradio_4.4_all.deb
dpkg -i pyradio_4.4_all.deb
All of which installed and completed successfully on my N9. pyRadio starts with the command "/opt/pyRadio/pyRadio.py"

The screen I get when the program starts is very similar to what I got on my N900 about a year ago. I was able to login and grab my station list, however I'm not able to click the button for the dropdown list to change stations, nor does playing audio seem to work.

Any tips? I kind of briefly read through the last 10-15 pages to get an idea of what to do, but I'm stuck here.

Edit:
Scratch that, I got music to play by closing and reopening the program. Scared the crap out of me. I still can't select different stations though. Also, the UI looks like a cross between Windows 3.1 and Maemo. The "menu" button is tiny, as are all the options in it.

I still need Terminal output from people that are saying it doesn't play audio.

That actually looks right.. what do you mean 'when it worked'?

Did it work with audio at some point and it's not now?

I think I was able to avoid having to manually install the dbus package since I had previously installed dateevent for the N9 which probably pulled in python-dbus as a dependency.

installing dbus worked, and i can launch the app, but i can't seem to get it working? i can login, and it acknowledges my stations, well I think it does since I see the alphabetically first station, but i can't click on the dropdown and i get no audio.

here is my complete output and what it looks like

ran:
apt-get remove pyradio
downloaded the maemo repository pyradio
dpkg -i pyradio_4.4_all.deb
/opt/pyRadio/pyRadio.py

launched it and it seems no different than the one i ran before, looks exactly the same as the screen caps i pasted earlier
