Nice

It that deb files downloaded from harmattan repository? If yes we can belive that we can use exception for redistributing binaries from quim

EDIT: Now I see that deb packages are only scripts for downloading...

One question: why is needed to remove package gstreamer0.10-openmax?

What is the difference? They download from Harmattan repo.

One question: why is needed to remove package gstreamer0.10-openmax?
Because it is incompatible with Harmattan codecs.

@Alfred - nothing new, there is no need to reinstall that.

The difference is, *if* harmattanians ever change something/shut down the repo/activate self-destruct/whatever, we won't end with non-working scripts. Better to have it in our own repo IMO

Anyway, HUGE thanks for all of this. Updating (I was still using early version prepared for show, so as I presume, only camera-ui is different, but will clean this to comply with new method), and blessing Your name, for + - eternity.

@freemangordon,

Cant thank you enough for the contribution form you to the community.

Is there any was to improve the quality of the videos recorded? though its HD 15+ Mbps, the quality is not quite HD-like (in my eyes). I'm sure its something to do with the encoder/settings. If you can tweak it to provide more sharpness/ saturation and improve the level of detail, it would look much better.
Further, as i can recall the application which Ammyt created "HDrecord" or somethin (yes it was your code) captured nice looking videos with good fluidity, the encoder used was Divx 4. was it fluid because it was less-taxing the mpu/dsp ?, the drawback was it never had any camera features .i.e exposure settings/focus/ iso..no sound etc..Really appreciate if you can kindly look-in to this (changing the encoder to divx or best the device can achieve).

This by no means me complaining or criticizing your very hard work but my feedback on the project.

tnx/
nkirk
