Is this integrated as a shareui plugin?
WebDAV is definitely on the TODO list, maybe you can use your ownCloud with ftp/sftp!

The link is invalid. Could you share the last version one more time?

Thanks.

This is in principle a fantastic app. One problem, though: It seems to upload to Dropbox only photos taken with the standard camera app, not photos taken with other apps even if the photos are saved to the same folder. Perhaps it relies on some signal from the camera app to detect when something could be uploaded, instead of just noticing new files, or some other trick -- any of whic makes it fail as a generic tool.

It's right at the moment it detects the DBUS signal which comes from camera application. I was thinking about the fact you show, it's not getting images from other applications. So maybe in the next big update it will check also the tracker for getting changes in the filesystem/photo folder.

FotoShareN9 is written in Python, so there are some options for realising a WebDav. And imgrup seems to be written in C++ so it's not possible to merge it directly.

BUT: At the moment I'm working hard to implement a plugin system, so it shall be possible to write for nearly EVERY service you know a own (Python) plugin, it's at a very early state, but maybe in one or two weeks it could be ready, if everything goes well.

My plan is to bring along with the next big, plugin enabled version, also support for Flickr and WebDav.

That's the plan.

In the meantime, could you tell what signal it listens to so people could implement that in their applications?

Hi!

I'm having some trouble with the application. I downloaded it off the Ovi store and ran it after the download. Then I was able to log in into Dropbox via the pop up window. But then, it crashed and I rebooted the phone. Since then I havent been able to open the app, keeps crashing at the loading screen.

I tried to remove the app by terminal using the rm command but theres no such a folder as .config. I tried with the Filebox as well but nothing (I had hidden files shown) So my problem is, how do I unistall this so I could reinstall it?

Thanks, must be a great app once it works

Ähhmm you should use
Code:
dbus-monitor --session
to see which signals fired from which application, in case of FotoShareN9 it is: "captureCompleted"

But you should have a look to DBUS and how it's working, because you also need - relating on your application the interface, path and so on...
