looks like they forgot their plans.
I am getting heaps of android adverts on their mailing list for this
but it appears like sailfish kinda died a forgotten death.

I'm a bit worried about Intex Sailfish phone as Intex was not mentioned at all in the previous blog post by Jolla. I really hope we see Aqua Fish @ MWC at the end of February.

Hope for a world wide partner at MWC.

Thanks.

Here are some important news I've read from the log:

- Turing CEO announced their intentions last week, and Jolla can confirm the partnership
- There are also openssl and openssh updates for 2.0.1.7, which are building at the moment
- SailfishOS.org website will have a slightly bigger update before MWC, Jolla is working on it as we speak
- Intex phone will be available in India only
- Decision to go outside India is up to Intex, nothing confirmed from their side for now.

Jolla should buy Jolla stickers, replace Intex logo with it and sell these Aqua Fish phones as Jolla Phone 2 at their webstore for customers outside India.

I doubt the Intex phone would be an interesting upgrade for those that already have a Jolla phone.

From the specs circulated, and the Intex other devices, I guess the new phone could have a higer resolution display, a somewhat faster cpu, but not more RAM of flash memory.

More RAM would improve daily usage of the phone, the rest is not going to help that much.

For me, as an hobbist programmer, the current Jolla is enough. Unless it breaks, I will keep using it.

What we can hope from this development is more users.
