I know the device is in demand and barely out the door, but how long do you think it will take before the price drops? Think it will ever be in the $300-$350 field?

If you bought with the rght rebates (Nokia -$50 + Bing -$150 + retailer -$100) it would be about $350.

Not quite sure how I would buy it like that? That would take a bunch of hunting eh? Or good timing. From what I can tell, there is nothing even close to that price. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on bing shopping.

It is CURRENTLY (as at 4:32pm CDT 12/8/09) $449 at Dell.com after $100 Dell Discount and $50-00 Nokia rebate before tax. Just use bing cashback to get another $100 off and you are not too far from your $350 price point.
GOOD LUCK!

That would mean Dell would actually have to SHIP something first though . Sorry bitter Dell customer, had to take the opportunity.

If you look at the prices of the N810 and N800 they don't dip all that low. When they do it's for a short period of time and it took what seemed a long time for them to come down to the price they are at now. I feel it's the trend with Nokia devices, particularly the Nseries so good luck with your search.

Probably summer of 2010 you can expect it to be in 350-400 given the next Maemo device is "scheduled" to be out in Q3 or Q4.

I've seen bing give 3-5% cashback, how do you get $100?

I believe for the Christmas holiday, Bing is doing a 10-20% cashback

I have a feeling after the demand peaks nokia will trim supply to keep the prices in check.

Yeah..I did take a look at that and came to the same conclusion. I'm thinking the $450 might be the best bet eh?
