I've searched bugs.maemo.org and the forum trying to figure out if this has already been mentioned...

Wouldn't it be nice if the Application Manager supported the same filter-as-you-type behavior that you have in contacts?

I found the Search option in the Application Manager menus, but that seems kind of clunky.

Any pointers to an existing bug report would be great, or I'll create one.

You could simply wait for PR1.2!
You will be served, when the gods at nokia release the firmware.

That feature is implemented on PR1.2

but we'll probably be living in communities on mars and eating a new food source that scientists will claim as then being healthy instead of bad for us. Pie and chips will be revealed as the health food of choice, and then something called PR 1.2 will be announced.

Wait.. you didn't get the announcement this morning?

It was delayed again.... looking more like June, 2098 now.
