Had the same issue twice. Rewrote the fs to the SD card but this time did sync after dd and it's working now.

Hi, how do you "sync"? It is a command?

if im correct, there is a sync command in the xterm for maemo

i asked others for tutorials but well.. tmo and meego forum are both full of ppl complaining rather then being useful..

googled it.
it is a linux command to force changed blocks to disk
maybe there could be some unwritten data being lost
I will try it today

Not very friendly tutorial but i know you did the best you could do fahadj2003!

not working for me on ubuntu and win7 32bits
same root filesystem missing
will give it a try next month

what if something goes wrong with meego? how can I boot back again to maemo?

now i gotta think of a good comeback..
here it is..
first, my tutorial is for all firmwares for maemo..
its also for all versions of meego..
it also has the same steps *except for kernel*..
and so on.. so on..

no
the other tutorial, yes..
its for the stock pr1.3 kernel only
*till what i read, didnt confirm*
