You didn't really answer the hildon acceleration one. If it is the tweak described in this post then it really should come with a warning because it isn't stable, it made my (otherwise stable) N900 freeze up several times before I was sure it was the cause and I disabled it again, but YMMV and it may work for some. If it is something different I'd be interested to know what exactly it is.

It's exactly that mod
But it's very strange that you have some problems.. o.o
In my small community (http://www.maemomeego.net/forum/show...Hildon-desktop) no bug problem about this mod..
Only some problem for who use a heavy undervolt profile with the titan.. :/
Do you use an undervolt profile?

I was using titans kernel, so that was what I suspected when it happened the first time, so I kept on default voltage after that and it still happened two more times in the same day, then I switched it back.

I guess so. But I think that was the reason Nokia left it off by default. I think you should at least put a warning on it so it will at least give people who enable a clue if they do experience mysterious lock-ups.

Looks interesting, i'll wait till more people report their experience with it before installing it myself though.

Btw, two requests:

* Could you add in the proggie itself an explanation of what each modification does and a link to the individual thread or page where each one is being discussed?

* And could you talk with the boost mod guy to see if that one could be included too please?

The hildon acceleration is not gpu acceletarion, it enables vertical sync. Most likely it slows down the graphics because the gpu now have to sync the frames in cache before they are painted in the screen. The hildon will look better because the images are in sync, and because there are less frames to see, and now your eye can see every frame while you switch desktops and do stuff. The mod should be called "vertical sync" or something.
