The only reason that I am using this thread is that I believe that we have the same problems with those unmet dependencies, the not working command - "apt-get -f install" I think the key to the solution will be the same. I might be wrong of course, I will be so sorry then.

Anyway, that doesn't show any errors
What does "apt-cache policy hildon-desktop" show? You could also try disabling all the repositories in App Manager, exiting, then going back in and re-enabling them. That should force a complete redownload of the repository data.

I tried with: "apt-cache policy hildon-desktop" but nothing is happened 
, also I disabled all the repositories and re-enabled them still the same 
I used my backup file - no luck again. I don't know that else to do, I don't want to flash my phone, I have so much things in it
Something went wrong though but I don't know when, because I am not able to change my wallpaper, when I try for example to change the 5-th only the first one is changing, also recently noticed that the theme doesn't change as well.
Maybe there is something with the hildon-desktop ???
Right now I cannot update or remove a damn app, tomorrow I will TRY if I can - to remove the community update to see if it will work.
