PS: welcome to the true meaning of "experimental"!
If you are not comfortable just wait until you see more users with Miniature successfully installed - and more specific installation instructions.

BTW, I copied the text parameters from the repository lin you provided at the first post to a new text file and renamed it .install, this created the repository in appman. Is this any way different from the one on the have posted above?

I installed it with the fapman, after installing the catalog with the help of my signature

oh i installed Nokia Qt Components from the repository quimgil mention in one of the above posts! ..and then it worked fine!
