Conversations Inbox Desktop Widget is not working for me. Also I cannot install subtitles for media player. Sygic cannot be updated to latest 7.71 via sygic repository.

once in a while bold and stupid is hard to tell apart, but this really isn't one of those situations.
I'd say installing packages from sdk repo to get pr1.2 parts is BOLD. downloading a random file somewhere and flashing it to your device......

Some of you guys need to serious curtail the nerd rage inside. 
There's A LOT more to life then PR1.2. All we can do is hope the people that are broke can get it fixed and try and educate the rest about the risks involved in updating something they may not fully understand.

except for a calendar bug which resolved itself after rebooting few times i didnt get any of those bugs you ppl have listed.. browsing is fast and i didnt get any corrupted conversations or errors with devel repos etc.. im probably lucky but 2 n900 upgraded to 1.2 and i've noticed only great improvements ...

No, you don't need it. To restore an old SIM/cellphone/3G firmware just use this:
apt-get install --reinstall cmt-firmware-rx51=8.2.2009.47-1.97+0m5
Until an official PR1.2 is released - it is available in Nokia repository.

i installed the update this morning and everything works fine. I am really happy with it and i didn't experienced any crashes...I don't know what you guys did....) maybe it's because you installed some crap apps
