For uninstalling I would

- disable the cssu repo
- deinstall mp-fremantle-community-pr
- deinstall mcsp
- deinstall Community SSU enabler

and the
Code:
 apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

I think they'd also need to reinstall mp-fremantle-generic-pr (sudo apt-get install mp-fremantle-generic-pr) after uninstalling all those

As you say, the process of how and when to move to that isn't defined. No-one's stepped up to define it. Is there a feature freeze and stabilisation on the -testing branch? How many bugs are acceptable to ship? Who is going to volunteer to help fix them?

Please get stuck in and help define that process, then it might happen!

Any chance to implement STK?

I think it's pretty useful since it's very common and used widely

Normal users will not understand the difference, and it's still confusing to use the same word for different things (what if I'm talking about the orientation of the camera-ui, for instance).

I get the message that there is a new version for the maemo CSSU update but need to connect to pc suite to install.... is this due to low internal memory? or what am i missing here? mostly the CSSU is no bigger then a few hundred Kilobytes

i ran apt-get upgrade and now my n900 is updating all files seperately but i dont know if this is the right way...
