MAINTAINERS URGENTLY WANTED
for allmost all subsystems: autobuilder, garage, wiki, bugzilla, drop, repository, midgard/cms/web, XEN, co-sysops, mysql, php...

Understanding of requirements of a productive system mandatory, need to know about peer-review and proper documentation and coordination with sysops.
We have no manuals about how stuff works, you need to find your way around by investigating the existing system.

we've put the subdomain
http://tabletsdev.maemo.org
to purpose.
so tablets-dev.nokia.com -> tabletsdev.maemo.org

cheers
/j

ps: a strange coincidence made tablets-dev.nokia.com resurrect in semi-working state today ;-). No, we don't need to discuss why that happened. ;-D

Many thanks to the Maemo team for that.
That makes it much more easy for newbies.
And we have more 'security' regarding IMEI check.

And I dont have to check url (on my local copy ) before posting out.

Nokia ships some proprietary stuff with every maemo or SDK. So a form of authentication as a customer of Nokia is needed, to comply with contracts Nokia has with adobe or dunno whom. Also see EULA you "Accept" before you get access to download area.

[2013-06-01 21:05:14] <DocScrutinizer05> to be clear: when switching between http://stage.maemo.org/extras-devel/...ee/l/lanterne/ and http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...ee/l/lanterne/ windows, I see only URL changing
[2013-06-01 21:05:57] <DocScrutinizer05> both browser windows otherwise look 100% identical (except the "<2>" appended to window title of the latter)
[2013-06-01 21:06:46] <DocScrutinizer05> (since it been the second of two identical windows I opened concurrently)
[2013-06-01 21:07:19] <sixwheeledbeast> No sorry...
[2013-06-01 21:07:40] <sixwheeledbeast> Try to download the armel.deb in them!
[2013-06-01 21:08:05] <sixwheeledbeast> the pages are the same but the files are missing in one
[2013-06-01 21:10:23] <sixwheeledbeast> this is true for all packages (files) in /extras-devel/*
[2013-06-01 21:15:12] <DocScrutinizer05> ouch
[2013-06-01 21:15:34] <sixwheeledbeast> sorry did I explain better this time
[2013-06-01 21:15:48] <DocScrutinizer05> yes
[2013-06-01 21:16:04] <DocScrutinizer05> now THIS is for sure sth techstaff can look into
[2013-06-01 21:16:28] <DocScrutinizer05> and also potentially explains the autobuilder problems
[2013-06-01 21:16:35] <DocScrutinizer05> thanks a lot

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=90314 please don't discuss it here but over there. thanks!

fixed, confirmed, ticket closed

[2013-06-01 23:12:46] <xes> the problem was the file "stage:/etc/nginx/sites-enabled/file_server" I have added the alias stage.maemo.org and stage.
[2013-06-01 23:13:16] <xes> user asking stage/../*deb -> varnish ->ngi -> apache
[2013-06-01 23:13:43] <xes> the alias was present into varnish and apache but not into nginx
[2013-06-01 23:14:31] <DocScrutinizer05> ooh, yeah. Great :-) I already anticipated nginx not configured correctly
[2013-06-01 23:14:55] <DocScrutinizer05> [2013-06-01 22:43:24] <DocScrutinizer05> so varnish fails cause nginx is not configured correctly and varnish using nginx only for .deb?

[2013-06-01 23:15:47] <DocScrutinizer05> Sc0rpius: please retry. should be fixed
[2013-06-01 23:20:21] <Sc0rpius> I retried, still no mail so it's still building
[2013-06-01 23:22:19] <xes> completed?
[2013-06-01 23:24:59] <Sc0rpius> build succeeded

we ordered a new GBit switch to replace the 100MBit switch that's conecting our blades mutually and to internet.
[2013-06-08 23:03:54] <warfare> DocScrutinizer05: I think I can install the switch next week. It's at IPHH and waiting to be installed.

One week ago I've sent a PM to Jacekowski, but no answer.

I am contacting to try to solve the issue pointed here :
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...7&postcount=68
about sending packages to autobuilder/Extra-Devel for Fremantle/Diablo.

My data on garage.maemo.org :
Member since: 2011-06-14 11:11
User Id: 83344
Login Name: rcolistete

Another issue. I can now send packages using the Maemo Extras Assistant, but only for Fremantle. On Diablo I have the following error, e.g. :
https://garage.maemo.org/pipermail/e...ne/109065.html
So, any news about autobuilder working for Maemo 4 ?

(15/06/2013) Other problems :
- python-uncertainties 2.3.6 was promoted from Fremantle extras-devel but doesn't appear in extras-testing;
http://maemo.org/packages/view/python-uncertainties/

- I can't upload python-sympy 0.7.2 to Fremantle extras, it gives "tar error" using Extras Assistant. And using scp I can't login (error cited above).
