The reason why I think the N900 is so impressive is also very much because of what the community has made for this device, really great things are being developed!

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

Today I purchase my first app through Ovi Store, Morpho Quick Panorama Pro for $3 and change. It only took Nokia 6 months to deliver on "coming soon."
Nokia has nominally "caught up" with where Apple was 2 years ago when Apple launched its App store. Problem is that Apple hasn't exactly been sitting still these last two years and neither has Android.
As Bart Simpson remarked on being placed in remedial class, "Let me get this straight. We're behind the rest of our class and we're going to catch up to them by going slower than they are?
