Hi,

For the apple iPhone. the thing that made it so popular was the amount of useless apps for it such as ibeer and lighter apps, will the n900 ever get such apps that r as useless but will make it become more and more popular, also will the n900 get those games with superb graphics?

kind regards

I think that producted software mirrors the user target the phone has.

iPhone -> mainly n00bs
n900 (Maemo) -> maily devs (atm)

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?
MAME: an arcade in your pocket
Accelemymote: make your accelerometer more joy-ful

Bounce Evolution, Angry Birds, Zen Bound and SPiN are some commercial high quality games for the N900, but the most of them are already availible on the Iphone.

Then you have some emulators and community-made games especially for Maemo. Also, don't forget Offscreen's ports of some nice Symbian games.

What about all the Ovi app by Offscreen like Pendulum or the coin one?

What's their use?
Well, they're nice to watch... And... Ehm... Hey, they're nice to watch, ok?

"This project consists of a single application in which a finger is pulled, and a multitude of fart sounds are randomly emitted."

AHAHAHAH, that sounds like a real iPhone fart app!

Finally we'll have our own fart machine

Oh, man...there goes the neighborhood.

This project has not released any files.
One can only hope...

... that what the app will actually do is popup a banner that says:
What, you think i'm an iPhone?
and then give the user the raspberry (which will henceforth be referred to as "the apple", instead).
