NEW UPDATE FOR speedpatch/batterypatch/batterypatch-non-kp

speedpatch : fixed the problem of uninstallation

batterypatch: in short A HUGE IMPROVEMENT
BUT i need someone to confirm that the new update has no problems at all (must be on it's way to extras-devel)
it's all KP version compatible + 720watch/record
changelog : http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...tterypatch/2.5

batterypatch-non-kp : fixed a tiny problem

good night all . wish me luck for my school test physiology

and i will edit the 1st post tomorrow

Did the update last night, both battery patch and speed patch.
No problems here, battery lost about 10% overnight
I have the latest CSSU 1.1 and kernel V49 installed
Thx Karam

Edit; After testing a few days noticed that the update for batterypatch
is decreasing the battery much faster than after the previous update.
Even tried to set the values to 0 in carbonjha's post but it didn't help.
Reinstalled batterypatch and everything seems back to normal now

@karam
thanks a lot for the update

I think it is important to renice the processes of cpu_sleep back to 0 in cpu_normal
otherwise their nice value will always remain 1 & the processes will be ignored during cpu load

/opt/dbus-scripts/cpu_normal
Code:
renice 0 `pgrep modest`
renice 0 `pgrep browserd`
renice 0 `pgrep image-viewer`
@All
qtlockscreen users can test this

add this line in /opt/dbus-scripts/cpu_sleep
Code:
renice -1 `pgrep qtlockscreen`
this will increase the priority of qtlockscreen when using

and in /opt/dbus-scripts/cpu_normal
Code:
renice 19 `pgrep qtlockscreen`
this will decrease the priority of qtlockscreen when screen is unlocked

i was using kp49 with no patch only dsp profile and was really happy with it...last night i installed this patches..i do not have any monitoring tool but my n900 imediately seemed faster...as for the battery i believe it is much worse than without batterypatch and dsp profile..is this possible?
