Hm,
i tried to set up a "normal" Jabber Chat on my N9 and on my Laptop, both with:
--> works on Laptop, but not on N9... strange!

- Password: <fb-password>
- Server: chat.facebook.com
- Port: 5222
- Encryption: yes/no (tried both)

Same here, what a shame. We all should start bombing the Nokia Care email so they will fix it, it's an important fix and they can't leave it like that.
Meanwhile you can use the online mobile HTML5 version of Facebook, chat is live updated and Works really good, although its a Little bit laggy.
