Is it possible to install nano terminal editor on the n900?

I don't like vi so I would like to use nano.

nano-tiny is either part of busybox or available in repos. I can't recall which, anymore. Just type nano and hit Tab and see if you have it.

That looks a bit old. I think this is the way to go, you'll get updates and have access to other tools:

Add repo:
Catalog name: Maemo Fremantle Tools
Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/
Distribution: fremantle/tools
Components: free non-free
Disabled: unchecked

Then:
sudo apt-get install nano
