is there any chance to add more apps for this quick launch? maybe just extending the number of how many apps are shown?... did you already tried this?

Ok, finally I finished this tweak 
All work like expected, you can choose 1 or 2 icons and background (see images).
But now I want to add option for changing stock icons too (see image with drive app icon), It also work cool, but I need some time again to implement it and also implement option of changing background to the auto-background changer..
