Hope to see more companies using Sailfish OS so the community will have a good choice of smartphone models (with different sizes, specs, etc) and also at least one tablet (7-10").

It is impossible that a unique smartphone model can satisfy different user tastes, so the key is to have different models, diversity with Sailfish OS : Jolla smartphone, Intel smartphone, Turing smartphone, FairPhone 2 smartphone, etc.

How exactly pulley menu is easy to reach with the large screen or you handle the phone from top?
Sailfish is far away from one hand UX, but I think most OSes are.

However, it's true that some things cannot be done easily with one hand (on large screens/devices), ie. closing apps with swipe or using ambiance switching/lock from the top of the screen. Majority of other stuff can be done with one hand.

as a fan of big screens using note 4 , iPhone 6SP and Sony Xperia ultra. One hand use is no problem if you have the proper tools. Gestures. As an heavy browser man Dolphin is the way to go. You can create gestures and assign tasks.

Have fairly big hands so that might affect too, ofc top of the screen is not easy to it without tilt/refreash grip on the ultra.

But then again most software is not designed for big screens with buttons in the top. Browser url field in the top and so forth...ui designers got a lot to learn

Sailfish got a few great things like the pullymenues but too limited .what they should really do is user designed gestures for the OS. That would elevate the OS to something unique.

And split screen atleast for mail and messages at start . It's a must on big screens

No idea what you are talking about, pulley menus are invoked from anywhere on the screen like any navigational gesture on sfos. That is actually one-hand friendly. You know the items in pulley menu get triggered by position not only by tapping them!

I'd do it smart from day 1...
a 3 step program...

Step 1- Use coined terms, alot of fancy nonsense-speak, alot of photos of staff looking very busy doing ...whatever...

Step 2- Fleece the idiot public...I mean really...shave ...the ... sheep...down to the skin baby...
take the money and run faaaaaarrrr away....

Step 3- Set up a device based properly ...
not on the immediate-shiny-bauble-gratification-of-the-moment kind of "want-it" device either...
But a device and platform which will stand the decades and give the consumer exactly what they need instead...
This kind of plan would be expensive and wouldn't be a money maker ..hence the need to "Pre-Fleece" maroons... to bulk up needed capital to actually service the "real" consumer...
In the end the stated device would have everything needed...and would look similar to say something like this....
Not pretty...not great on gas...but it has all the cool sha-wizza you would ever want / need...this device consequently goes down in the annals of history under " One of the Mythical Best Devices EVER" category......

Step 4 (NOT FOR PUBLIC VIEWING) - Immediately apply for "financial restructuring protection" since the conclusion of step 3 will never make any profit....and will in fact be a complete fiscal loss....

A friend of mine just called me this morning asking if I wanted to use his Turing phone pre-order as he does not want it with Sailfish OS. So probably soon I will be proud owner of Black Wyvern 128GB with Sailfish OS on it.
