Then could you attach your current /etc/hildon-desktop/status-menu.plugins?

Just telling "GSM: Off"? *ROFL**ROFL**ROFL*
Check your cell coverage.

EDIT: What version were you using? Some old build?

ya it is saying GSM:Off .. I am using the latest build whichever is in devel repo.

for the time being i had uninstalled it. will reinstall as it is very handy in saving some space in status menu without losing any functionalities...

I insalled the latest version from extras-devel, but it doesn't come up in the drop down menu. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

For the one that installed it, does the GSM switcher let you choose between 2G /3G/Dual mode? I'm waiting for a more stable release to try, but just wonder.

For debug, please post here output of running
Code:
python /usr/lib/hildon-desktop/advanced-interface-switcher.py 1
And don't forget to reboot right after install, 'cause hildon-desktop is sometimes acting weird...

The only way at the moment is to add submenu... I'll take a look, what can be done.
