Ubuntu Phone developer preview available 21st February

Good news for the open source mobile device platform world, Canonical will be releasing the first developer preview of their Ubuntu Phone platform on February 21st:
The software, intended both for developers and adventurous end-users, will be made available as images for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset as well as LG's Nexus 4. Source code will also be released for those who would like to port the operating system to other phones.
Like any "developer preview" this one is likely to be rough around the edges and not suitable for day-to-day use, it will be interesting too see what Canonical's offering feels like first hand, however.

Thanks for citing NumPy and MatPlotLib new releases.

As maintainer of them, I need to say they were already available in older versions. But :
- NumPy 1.7.0 is a lot newer than 1.4.1, and v1.7.0 was released on MeeGo Harmattan just 1 day after the upstream;
- MatPlotLib 1.2.0, besides being newer than v1.0.0, now has graphical backend on MeeGo Harmattan, so you can see plots and even rotate 3D plots by touching them.
