Peculiar...it looks like you never actually flashed completely to PR1.2 then.

Are you sure it was successful previously, or did you miss some error messages? Did you use --flash-only when you flashed PR1.2 before? (don't do this - you need to flash the entire thing) What happens if you now flash to PR1.2 (following the guide exactly)?

I tried upgrading again last night with

flasher.exe -f -F fw\059K0X6\DFL61_HARMATTAN_30.2
012.07-1_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin -F fw\059K0X6\DFL61_HARMATTAN_30.2012.0
7-1.NORTHERNEUROPE_EMMC_NORTHERNEUROPE.bin --erase-user-data=secure

No errors and phone bricked

I've Zeroised it to original Malaysian PR1.1 with Northern Europe PR1.2 cmt and the phone is fully up and running.

I've started a journal at http://www.gabrielharrison.co.uk/nokian9/ and have copied var/log and the output of sysinfoclient -a copied off phone off the phone.

Now about to do OTA update and will report back.

Still no joy with OTA update. You can see from the output of sysinfoclient -a that none of the version details have changed here http://www.gabrielharrison.co.uk/nok....2/sysinfo.txt

Does anyone know if all the settings in sysinfoclient -a should mirror the new flashed version or if there are always remnants of the original version?

The only thoughts I've come up with are:

1. Product code is still set to New Zealand (059K111) not Malaysia (059K114) so /device/product-code does not match /certs/ccc/id and /certs/npc/variant_id

2. CMT used is for a different region although the driver does work

Should either of these matter and if so, any ideas why the phone is fine before OTA update?

Tonight I will reset product code to 059K114 and try again. Not sure how to do the CMT differently because I think the flash always failed with 059K114 versions 1.1 and 1.0.

Yup we have the same problem. I also have a mix of PR1.2 and PR1.1 before, but I redownloaded the image and flashed. when typing flasher -i it shows the correct SW version. But nonetheless, every boot, the warning still shows

I think I've tracked my problem down to using NSSPro (as opposed to the older NSS) to change my Product Code.

The bug is in NSSPro v 0.38, 09 March 2012 (and definitely the version before) and causes the value in the Product Code field to overwrite the HW Version value. Writing only the HW Version does seem to work but I've not looked for any side effect bugs.

I've sent a diagnostic log in about the bug to Genie Projects and will report back here.

I've not tried the old version called NSS so can't be sure it is not affected too but the version I used is NSSPro which supersedes NSS.

How did you know that the HW version value is your problem? I just want to know if we have the exact same issue.

Can you still use your phone? Only having warning message every startup?
