Well quake 2 has a linux version so just run it

Haven't checked myself, but you might be able to run the ioquake 3 version from the Fremantle repository - if it doesn't have any dependencies on Maemo 5-specific components.

or use meecatalog, i think there are both quake2 and quake3 in there

yes, in meecatalog are quake2 and quake3 but did'nt have icon in menu

i do this, but no icon in menu. I should do this after install quake or before instalation ??
