I'm sorry karam but i have serious problem to install this grat app.
I try to solve it without your help but I failed sigh.
when i try to install task-swapper the installation don't finish; the problem probably is the postinst script. so I must delete with ctrl+c anda the configuration failed
I try to solve with apt-get install -f or dpkg --configure task-swapper. Itry to reinstall or remove i used the force option too but nothing. I remove this bad inst. only delete the package in /var/lib/dpkg/status and after remove handly the files. As soon as i copy in this 3d the output when install this app. if you know how i can install it or you have some workaround to tell me you make me happy

p.s.: I have the package keyboard-shortcut written by Matan; maybe these apps conflicts each other

hmm i see
i will upload a new version without the postinst script
cause it's not important it's just to avoid rebooting to make the app work
anyway next version will be uploaded in the next 6 hours

thanks for your reply

that's what the postinst has

-----------------------
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/bin/task-swapper --next Ctrl:Right --prev Ctrl:Left
echo "All Done"
echo "Reboot Is Not Required"
-------------------------

and can someone do this so i can know what is the problem caused by :
---------------------
sudo gainroot
apt-get install -d task-swapper
dpkg -x /var/cache/apt/archives/task-swapper* /
---------------------

AS USER NOT ROOT
-----------------
exec /usr/bin/task-swapper --next Ctrl:Right --prev Ctrl:Left
-----------------
