Glad you like it

And also feel free to suggest features improvements and/or mention any bugs issues.

Sometimes I decrease resolution to save (a bit of) time between 2 captures.

Thanks for the latest update! Works like a charm so far

Another feature request:
Ability to pause a video recording. When you resume it adds the new recording after the pause and so forth. This way you could make several clips into one recording "session" without the need to join clips in an editor later. A quick way of making simple videos.

Feature request: manual focus (like in nokia pro cam)! It's possible? It would be very useful in many situations...

i entered into a buggy state last night, where camera wouldnt take pictures or auto-focus, but the viewfinder worked. i cannot reproduce, and dont have a log.

btw, some poster putty, hidden in the screw tunnel under the sim door, is the best workaround for no focus-assist-lighting ive found yet.

i still would really like to lower viewfinder brightness, but just turning the viewfinder on/off would be sufficient. {focus rectangle and toggles should still be present of course}

Does it really affect the speed that much?

Unfortunately pausing video is not possible. It's a limitation of camerabin2.

There is however a way by blocking audio and video stream from flowing to the encoders. This sounds ugly - and nasty - but it might work. I will give it a try and see. I hope it will not be a big hack

I tried to find a way to do that but could not. I will keep it in mind and add it to my TODO list.

Cool, that sounds like an interesting way of solving it! May the force be with you. It would certainly be a good feature if you succeed.
