I would think/hope that we would see swype in MeeGo at some point at least. Samsung and Nokia together invested $5.6 million to swype and while that's not huge amount of cash i'm sure Nokia wants to add it to it's future phones like what Samsung is now doing.

I miss good old HWR. This swype looks to be terribly slow way to input long words. New Zealand guys from Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakit anatahu would go crazy.

N900 needs it more. Symbian phones at least have T9

Yes. We have been using Swype since 8/2010. Where were you ?
Download from market and install. You have to pick the one with correct screen resolution though.

That's in NITDroid, not Maemo.

But he was asking about n900 specificly not the os so bun is right

i was asking about Maemo since it is an official OS for N900 & not NITDroid.

Swype is closed source, so you'll have to ask whoever makes it.
