I'd use mplayer.

What about the built-in media player and/or Canola?

canola uses mplayer.. and i believe mplayer is capable.. is it not working for u?

i use the default player.. i believe it saves more battery juice than canola

Great tip!

I don't remember every being able to play these MP4 files on my Nokia 770.
