Amazing.
Amongst all the sheer genius that populates TMO,

Install kernel-power and load the fbcon kernel module in the preinit script. Have a look at this post:

I've tried using search but failed to find anything. Is it possible to remove the dots on boot and instead of them show a scrolling terminal that would show which things are loaded?
