Here's a fun game! Also very informative. Open up the terminal on your tablet, and enter "uptime". Post the output of that command

With these tablets, the numbers are bound to be big! The load averages should be interesting, too. Here's mine:

Code:
~ $ uptime
 18:26:01 up 13 days, 18:05, load average: 1.74, 1.82, 1.80

My uptime is a little messy :/

First I compiled uptimed and wrote a script that uploads my uptime hourly to me webspace (shouts out to Andrew):
http://qwerty12.maemobox.org/N800_Uptime.htm
and I stopped updating that.

Next, I compiled Tug's Uptime Client for the tablet but I haven't been running it for a while:

How do you do this? Just how?

My tablet lasts about 5-12 hours with screen, wifi, bluetooth, etc off, even with "power-save" mode thanks to liqbase. Usually, its fully charged before school, lives in my pocket, and is dead when I get in the car to drive home (5 hours give or take).

The longest I have seen it last is about 1.5 days...

Then clearly you have something eating CPU in the background.

OK, im gonna boot into flash, where nothing is installed, and run down the battery. If something IS eating the CPU, it should make a huge difference.

My uptime used to be between 3 and 6 months, but that's unfortunately in the past now, as the N800 doesn't charge anymore.
