That simply means they don't have in stock and they are not planning to have.

Instead of saying "we have none", they just discourage you from buying it. If you still want to pay $1000 for the N900, they'll get you one...

No it isn't. That's the wrong, unofficial Nokia N900. Here's the correct one that I purchased my phone from. I'm a little disappointed to see Amazon is directly stocking them any longer(which how I purchased mine), because the price is higher than when I originally purchased mine in February 2010. I really wanted to buy a second one to run MeeGo on(because my N900 is reliable and I love using Maemo). I guess used is always an option, but I know some earlier models were noted for the USB issues, that newer ones(mine has been a champ) don't have issues with.

That's insane that the link I posted is also sold and distributed by Worldwide Distributors, yet they're nearly a hundred dollars difference in price... I'd dispute that one with Amazon if I was looking to purchase it.

You can buy mine for 450$... Good condition, with nice leather cover worth 40$ which covers keyboard as well. NO charging port issues or any other since i hardly used it after 6 months of use as i bought iph4 last year.
