Do you know for a fact that this is coming?
I'm concerned 11.5 may be their last major update...

Or at least we could be waiting ages before the next one.
At which point it'll still be behind OM on other platforms.

Well....
I was under the impression it was the 1st official/stable build.
You know there was one officially released about 3wks ago right?

Before that there was a developmental build that people were unofficially using.
This latest official build is already behind OM on Symbian^3.
I hope the next doesn't remain a step or or two behind too.

Hello guys, just want to share this tip with all of you! You can enable the native keyboard in opera 11.5 on the N9.

Type this in the terminal:

Code:
/opt/operamobile-labs/operamobile -native-input
What works:
-Works in landscape(turn N9 to the left)
-Works with any of the N9's native keyboards including swype and Chinese handwriting!

Limitations/bugs:
-It doesn't work properly in other orientations.
-You have to manually swipe down the keyboard to hide it.
-Keyboard may block input field sometimes

If you don't want to type the command all the time, download the attached file, rename to "opera mod.desktop" and copy to /home/user/.local/share/applications/

Hope this temporary fix may be of help!
