I did it, no error message. Truely, no message at all :) Is it regular?

The only problem i can think of is if i misspelled something.. els you should have gotten an error. I will need to check the code and install the program again to see it's paths. I will probably do it tomorrow.. getting a bit late here now ;)

bro it seems like some icons remained same without changing correct me if im wrong. eg My Social Gallery icon haven't changed? do we have a bug in AwOken Extras?

I had misspelled the My Social Gallery icon and apparently the Wifi-switcher icon is not for awoken extras. So i moved it to the regular place. However.. it doesn't seam to work. Need to look more into it.

hope you'll come up with bugs free version :D and i wont be able to keep an EYE on your updates or to check BUGS :D for @least 2weeks as im travelling abroad. going to Perform Umrah Insha'Allah

Only complaint I have about the icon set is the Contacts icon.

Have been thinking of changing that one actually. I have kept it cause it is from the original icon-theme made by alecive87. So it may change in the future.

thanks, but i found it in my menu, i thought it had to be installed separately.

First backup, then change. Next time you want to change the icons.. do a reset first.

First of all, This pack shows immensely amazing work. Congrats AlMehdi on its success.

I was wondering if there any icon for rdesktop in this pack? If not, I've attached a sample that I'd wish to see. Also I have no clue why in the Documents to Go premium edition, the Slideshow to Go icon is not being picked from the pack. If there is a way around, please enlighten me.

Once again, Thanks a lot for this amazing icon set.

Will add rdesktop for next version. The DtG icon might go under a different name in the premium. You could check it in the "/var/lib/dpkg/info/<program>.list" file. I am not sure what the filename is as i do not have the premium edition.

What do you mean by when i want to change them - if i want to customise any of the awoken icons?

I did the backup, then change, both said 'done' immediately but nothing changed

It should have taken a while not directly. Some applications have their icons outside the standard place.. why i made the Awoken Extras app. This will backup the original and switch to the awoken icons for those.

Does the backup do Hicolor or something then? Have you thought of merging the extras icons into the awoken icon pack?

That x-term command opens awoken extras, but x-term wants a password. Awoken extras opens but doesn't register anything

You need to have rootsh or sudser installed to make it work. If you have chosen an password you need to write that.

i have rootsh, and i didn't choose a password to the best of my knowledge

Edit: run the command as root, and it didn't ask for a password this time. Extras opened, but again it says 'done' immediately

The one from devels (appman is updating so i can't check for ages)

2. sh /opt/awoken-extras/data.sh -b

remember to restart after.

That is good and normal. It gives that output cause you do not have that program installed. It does so on all icons that misses an program.

If you restart now.. you should have a couple of more icons changed to Awoken. The ones that is in extras can be found in the first post of this thread.

ah ok. i didn't get around to step 4, i closed x term after the last output, do i run the whole thing again or just sudo gainroot, step 4?

Yes, if you already have done the backup then you can skip to 4.

You could check it by "ls /usr/share/pixmaps/" and if you see some icons with a trailing ".png.orig" then you have den backed up. Else do 3 and then 4.

i have a problem with the icon of slidesshowtogo. even after the update that icon hasnt changed. I checked the icon folder and i saw that there is a updated icon for slidesshowtogo but it is not showing on my desktop, the old one still shows up. it is in the scalable folder.

I too am having the same problem slideshowtogo and flash tweaker have their original icons everything else is ok

I haven't done flash tweaker yet so thats why.. but am not sure why slideshowtogo won't. As you are two something is probably wrong with the package.

The nice thing with themes is that they can never die. They do not need constant updates to be current. However.. i feel i am not entirely finished and want do some fixes. But that will come when i feel i am ready for it. If someone want to fork my theme they are welcome it is after all open source ;)
