1.your pc usb port...
2.n900 storage type....

1.your usb port need atleast 2.0 if you want to transfer data fast...old pc have usb 1.0 while the latests...

i get 16 mb/s when i transfer a file in my n900's emmc and yes i get only 4 mb/s when i transfer i file in my sd card. and i dont think that it is slow.

Ext-filesystems with and beyond ext2 are capable of storing files larger than 4Gbs. Only FAT and alike that are 16-bit can't handle 4Gb files.
