2.5G (GPRS) 56 kbit/s - 0.114 kbit/s
2.75G...

Some in this thread have confused OrangeBox with the author of the article he linked.
Skim reading can be as counterproductive as trolling...

I'm probably going to get flamed myself for saying this... but I do believe OrangeBox has handled himself and his arguments well. Maybe there's some history with him I don't understand or know.. but...

ah, good points indeed!
The software and service sides of the business is most definitely where the future lies, and I believe Nokia is working, and has been for quite some time, towards becoming...

Re: Email synch frequency < 5 minutes?
You don't have to change providers! You simply need to configure Nokia Messaging. Completely Different things.
Check my post in the N900 sub-section for how to configure Nokia Messaging to work...

Re: Emails are not part of Conversations? Why?
The Conversations app is a progression of Conversations on S60, which was SMS only. Adding IM was great, but email would be even better. S60 users have begged for this feature for years.
It could...

Re: How is 'bricked' possible on the N900?
technically, all those bricks that you read about on the n900 are not bricks, because you can "revive" the device by reflashing it.
"brick" means it becomes completely useless.

Re: Anyone "jailbreaked" the N900 yet?
I am not a developer, but here are a couple reasons that i could think of:
1. You want to have a seperate OS to run all of your -devel and -testing applications on, instead of risking the...
