Strange indeed, some people suffer from this behaviour, I personally have never experienced this during the development of smscon. I will look into it again, maybe I can find the explanation why this...

Not if you change the default SMS commands and/or give the commands a secret prefix you only know (see SMSCON-editor for this).

In 0.5-9 there is some experimental code which would solve the problem if there is no cell connection (no possibility to send SMS), it would automatically try to resend the same message after 900...

For smscon to work properly, the setting should be "Connect automatically". I know this is against some people's wishes, but otherwise it won't work.

All (smscon.log, smscon_boot.log, taken camera picture, created GoogleMap image) are in /tmp. And so will be deleted after a reboot.
