[In Nokia Store again] Extraplugins v0.3.0 - ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber
 

Additional plugins for Accounts UI. Provides chat for ICQ, AOL, MSN, Jabber, QIP, Yahoo, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Gadu-Gadu services.
Embeds into system Conversations (same as GTalk, Skype accounts).
Contacts from web lists will be merged with phone Contacts after log in.

Application requires reboot after installation.
Also don't forget to remove accounts before removal package.

+ Added Spanish translation
* Many bugfixies, added auto removal for broken accounts
* Fixies for Ovi

Update v0.2.4:
+ Added Gadu-Gadu service
+ Chezh and Slovak translations (Gadu-Gadu have only Russian and English translation yet).

Thanks - love to test for you but can't install the lite package... Have had MSN working for a while but don't remember adding any other account integration packages... any clues?

Is using the application manager to remove libpurple0, telepathy-haze and im-providers-additional enough or do these need to be removed via terminal if you were using this method for additional instant messenger clients and wish to now use Extraplugins?

HI community.
With this method can user voice comunication for windows live? Because when i install th elast im-providers cant user the voice communication.
Example: I can talk voice with Skype.. and MSN can too ?

Many thanks for creating this plugin! MSN has been the one thing missing for me on the N9. However, after installing the plugin I am unable to sign in to MSN; the status light just flips between online and offline, and when I try to send a message to someone the keyboard only briefly appears and then disappears off screen.

Also, is it possible to remove account types from the list? Many of the ones included I know I will never use - some of them I've not even heard of!

The MSN works fine for me (except an issue below) and it supports simultaneously login from mutliple locations is a big plus, so my desktop msn don't get logged out when I log in from moible.

(In contrast, in Yahoo Messenger, my desktop session will get logged out if I logged in from mobile or vice vesra)

However, there is one issue of the MSN to me. If I log in from the N9, my profile picture will get deleted. My PC MSN will immediately change to a generic MSN icon as a result. I have to re-assign a picture on PC everytime after logged in from N9.

In N900, I don't have this problem.I think I can assign a profile picture in the MSN plugin (or it won't delete my picture already in profile)

Is it possible for the MSN icon to not list offline contacts ? Or having contact listed according to their status like in the conversation window.

MSn windows client tells me that, I have signed from two locations where N9's is named pidgin, is it possible to modify this to display something else ? Do you plan on supporting avatars ? atm pidgin display the empty avatar picture and I think it also removes the one from server, which could explain mcdull problem

This has ony ever happened to me me once before when I was trying to update the apps for Meego app.

Is there a correct way to install? I just downloaded from the browser and opened from the transfers screen, checking untrusted source thingy on the way.

gg.pl But it is in polish language, to create an account click on "Załóż nowe konto", on the next page:

• Hasło - Password
• Powtórz Hasło - Confirm Password
• Adres e-mail - email
• Kod z obrazka - captcha

On the next page a number will be shown - it is the login, use this login and password you entered before to access the account

I have tested gg and it is not working. When I am choosing a buddy I want send a message to the keyboard shows, hides and the applications goes back to buddy selection. When I click on the message I received from other buddy the application does some animation (wants to show new page), but instead of showing messages it goes back, and removes received message

In my Gadu-Gadu works without any problems. Coderus, thanks for adding this protocol - this is what you are doing is fantastic! :) BTW, I asked about this in an earlier thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...19#post1138919, I thought you ignored me ;P

There is another problem. List of contacts Gadu-Gadu is not collected from the server. That's not a tragedy - you can add it manually. But the next time they are removed (after reboot or logout/login). The problem is probably in Telepathy Haze (that pulls an empty list of server GG or in general does not provide synchronization of contacts). Is it possible to fix this or block the contact list synchronization? (of course for Gadu-Gadu only)

For Polish users is a key issue because it is the most popular IM in our country. Many thanks in advance for your help.

If you need support with configuration, translation GG site, testing, etc. - no problem.

HI,
I've installed your app but it worked quite strangely for me and now I want to uninstall it.
I've done it first from the App. Manager, rebooted the phone, but now there are still two icons that cannot be removed from the desktop "!! msn" and "!! yahoo" - how can I get rid of these two icons?
In Accounts tool I cannot add any of these extra providers as before, so I guess the uninstall worked at least to remove some files. Any advise on how to remove the two icons left on my desktop for which I don't have an X option for removal?(see the attachment)

you should reboot after installing app for translation and icons loads =)
and desktop icons manage inside account. open account and disable desktop icon option.

yup, desktop option removed, it was buggy and can't separate accounts in one service. will be improved in future releases. or maybe as separate project.

Will it be pushed to apps.formeego.org at some point?
