Well, its over a year later and I've installed the latest Garnet VM, but I still have the same problem: I get successful sync messages on my N800 and my laptop (running Vista), but no data shows up...

I've had various Palms, Sony Clies and Handspring Visors for many, many years. I used cradles to hot sync and never had a problem.

I think the issue here is that my PC recognizes the hot sync...

My version of HotSync manager is v.7.0.2. so when I right-click, I don't get a "custom" option, but I was able to achieve what you indicated, which was to sync "addresses" only, and nothing else....

Thanks for the fast reply. I saw that post and tried that, but the problem remains. Judging by the other posts, I think this problem is more prevalent than Garnet realizes.
